Unfortunately, Sociedad Latina’s parties have gotten worse and worse lately, especially due to the places where they choose to throw their parties. Places like Blvd and Crash Mansion, were the people at the door, the bar and the coat check is extremely rude and uneducated and the services is worse than horrible. We hope Sociedad Latina stop choosing BLVD for their parties soon, until then if you are in the mood to dance some good latin music, we recommend you to check Son Cubano at the Meatpacking district or the parties from Pachanga (Ex: Marcha latina)
About Socieda Latina
Sociedad Latina NY Party was founded in 2004 by Jeanny Carpio (Peruvian) and the support of her dearest friends from Argentina, Colombia, Spain and Italy, who were tired and bored of the impersonal night club scene. They had a necessity to interact with others who have similar style of living, education and socialization. And, in March 12th, 2005 Jeanny Carpio launched her first event, with the purpose to congregate a select group of people, offering them the possibility to meet interesting persons, make new friends, and dance the best music from all around the world.
Sociedad Latina NY has become a Social Club where Latin Americans and some Europeans professionals and students living in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut meet every two weeks. Delivering the most amazing and joyful parties in a pleasant environment, where you can enjoy, sing and dance varied music while socializing with an authentic, friendly and well educated crowd.
