I discovered Cuban music in an event they used to have at NoMoore, in Tribeca. That was around ....1998. I followed laRumba's events and was a regular at their parties at LaBelle Epoque and Nells. I made so many friends there .... so many girlfriends :) I actually met my girlfriend with whom we have been traveling for six months around south america at LaRumba. NY was not the same after LaRumba.net stop hosting their events. I can wait to get back to NYC, meet my buddies & dance to cuban salsa at one of their parties ... & with Obama as president, what more can I ask for?! I am so happy to read that these guys are back!
