On April 19th, Mexican-born Ximena Sariñana comes to SOBs the Universal Home Of Music for an intimate concert. Ximena Sariñana is fast emerging as one of the most acclaimed new Latin artists in the U.S. right now.
When her debut album ‘Mediocre’ was released last year Rolling Stone Magazine proclaimed it “one of the strongest debuts from a female singer-songwriter since Norah Jones’ Come Away With Me.” The CD enjoyed unprecedented success in Ximena’s native Mexico and it was only a matter of time before the charismatic artist began to gain an international following. The young phenom has a voice and writing style that belies her years. The Berklee School of Music-trained musician has spent most of he life in the entertainment industry in some form.
