Son Cubano, or the “Sound of Cuba”, successfully brought a style reminiscent of the elegance and opulence of “The Havana 50s” to the meat packing district in New York City.

The inspiration for the overall motif was drawn from the memories of “La Habana” set in a decade in which the intimacy of the arts and the music brought the people together, creating a vibrant and an intrinsic ambience.

From the longest mahogany hand-crafted bar to the hand-painted details of the walls, the display of architectural mastry and dazzling design was ultimately brought to life by the same innovative creators and owners of Flor de Sol restaurant in Tribeca.
